All at sea

A stormy sea is always impressive, but the dead calm just relaxes every single muscle in your body... Looking at this, I'm transported directly to that spot on the beach and my envious feelings towards whoever's on that sailing boat!

Good ol' Joel

I've never been to Cape Cod, but all the images taken there are so very familiar somehow. Maybe that's why I see things in these photographs that some might not...

Joel Meyerowitz's photos are a real paradox to me sometimes. This might confuse people, but I'm simply saying that there are so many different readings in his images. Lonely yet uplifting, promising and doubtful, sombre but comforting.

Well, I love 'em...

(Ascending order: 'Dune grass house,' 'Doorway to the sea,'Provincetown' and all from Cape Light by Joel Meyerowitz)

Down the rabbit hole

I admit this shot was quite sloppily taken, but I like the muddy feel of it. And I definitely didn't notice the halo when I took this. A rather spooky shot...

Back to fall

With the onset of fall, you can almost feel nature bracing itself for winter. The light is fantastic, the sun creates so much contrast against the darkening skies! This is definitey one of my favourite times of the year...

'No hay poets'

What rebellious sheep... Maybe they'll bleat some Keats?
